My school is putting us new teachers up for the week in Seoul. I was surprised that it is a “love motel”. To other people, this means that there is an hourly rate for rooms.
I’m not sure what difference that makes to me. But, I have noticed that this room itself has an assortment of interesting amenities. In addition to the standard bed, tv, phone:
- two lovely robes
- hair spray
- bug spray (as in Raid rather than Off)
- hair brush and comb (not new but clean mostly)
- cologne
- qtips
- 3-pack of condoms
- an in-room water filter
- desktop computer and internet access
- fancy looking tub with sound system in the bathroom
- separate slippers for the bedroom, and another set for the bathroom
